The Dead Sea

The Dead Sea, from which Manaseer Magnesia extracts its core product, is an enclosed salt lake located in the Jordan Valley with a salts percentage of 34% - nine times the concentration of salt in the Mediterranean Sea - making it an excellent source of magnesium. Spanning an area of 605 sqkm, the geological formation of the Dead Sea dates back to three million years, where part of the sea covered the majority of the land in the Arab region and then separated into a lake connected with the Mediterranean Sea. Over the course of time, those drifted apart and the salt concentration of the Dead Sea increased, causing the ground to drop.
